S2Media™ Potato Flake Agar (PFA) is a non-selective and non-differential medium used for the cultivation and maintenance of pathogenic and opportunistic fungi. Potato flakes provide complex sugars that fungi metabolize, supporting robust vegetative growth. Low nitrogen content compared with carbon triggers fungi to enter reproductive (sporulation) stages. The firm surface allow fungi to grow in a structured colony, which mimics natural surfaces where sporulation occurs. The medium retains water without excessive liquid, maintaining an environment conducive to spore formation.• Product meets ASM and CLSI performance criteria.• Potato Flake Agar (PFA) should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • For in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.• Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.

S2Media™ Yersinia Selective Agar (Schiemann's CIN Agar) is a selective and differential medium used for isolation and enumeration of Yersinia species from food samples. Its formulation incorporates multiple selective agents, sodium deoxycholate, crystal violet, cefsulodin, irgasan, and novobiocin, to inhibit enteric flora. Yersinia spp. characteristically ferment mannitol, producing a concentrated acid reaction in the colony center that creates a distinctive red “bull’s-eye” morphology. In contrast, most other enteric bacteria, if they grow, form larger colonies with diffuse pink centers and opaque margins, allowing differentiation from Yersinia.• Product meets BAM, ISO, CLSI, SM-Dairy, USP-NF performance criteria.• Yersinia Selective Agar should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • For in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.• Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.

Lee's Multidifferential Agar (LMDA) is a selective and differential medium utilized for the enumeration of bacteria commonly found in beer and breweries. The medium is recommended for detection of spoilage organisms including Lactobacillus species, Pediococcus species, acetic acid bacteria, and lactic acid bacteria. This product conforms to the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) standard methods and formulations. This medium is also known as Schwarz Differential Agar. Tryptic Soy Broth with 15% Glycerol is a liquid medium utilized for long-term frozen maintenance of bacteria. This medium is considered a cryopreservative or freezing solution as is recommended in the Clinical Microbiology Procedures Handbook and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) for the maintenance of stock cultures. When inoculated into this medium and frozen at or below -40°C, bacterial suspensions remain viable.
